Ingredients
Medicinal Ingredients (each 5 mL or 1 teaspoonful contains): DM--Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15 mg, E--Guaifenesin 200 mg, Menthol 15 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, citric acid, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, polyethylene glycol, polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil, propylene glycol, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, water, xanthan gum.
Directions
Read the complete label before use and follow all directions. Do not use with any other cough/cold medications since harm may occur. Shake well before using. Adults (12 years and over): Take 2 tsp (10 mL) every six hours. Maximum 8 tsp (40 mL) per day.
Cautions
Do not take more than recommended dose; do not use if allergic to ingredients, with other cough/cold products, or with/within 2 weeks of an MAOI; consult a doctor if you have persistent or mucus cough, chronic lung disease, difficulty breathing, are taking other medications, pregnant or breastfeeding; stop use and see a doctor if you develop rash, allergic wheezing, sore throat pain >2 days, new/worsening symptoms, fever >38°C, persistent headache, or thick yellow/green phlegm; keep out of reach of children; in case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately.
