Sodium Chloride 0.9% for Injection (Bacteriostatic) is a sterile, isotonic saline solution containing benzyl alcohol as a preservative to inhibit bacterial growth in multi-dose vials. It is used as a parenteral diluent for the reconstitution or dilution of compatible injectable medications for IV, IM, or subcutaneous administration.
This product is not intended for direct infusion as a primary fluid or for standalone hydration therapy.
