Adults and children 12 years and older: take 2 tablets once daily at bedtime; do not exceed 4 tablets twice a day. Children 6 to under 12 years: take 1 tablet at bedtime; do not exceed 2 tablets twice a day. Children under 6 years: consult a doctor. Take preferably at bedtime with a full glass of water. Relief is usually produced within 6 to 12 hours. Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a physician.
Cautions
Do not use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than two weeks. Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking other medications. Prolonged use may cause dependence or electrolyte imbalance.
